Oh sweet! I can't believe To Kill a Mockingbird is 50 years old. I was told by an author to go through that book and highlight all the dialogue and description because it was so well written.

Hey, thanks for the link Shannon!
Awesome contest. =)

Great contest!
I can hardly believe it's been 50 years since To Kill a Mockingbird came out. Time marches on whether we like it or not. :)

I couldn't apply because I am a resident of India, but I wanted to tell you that I left a comment on the TKAM post saying you sent me.

One of my all time favourite books it is.

Happy Independence Day! "It's Raining Cupcakes" is a great title for a book, and would be a dream come true.

You hurt my feelings, Shannon! :o(
"Waaaahhhhh!

OF COURSE I told "the Princess" that you referred me, you silly goose. I even reminded her that she owed you +5 points for doing so. You can check my comment on her blog (which happens to be just a few below your comment, if I remember properly) and verify that I did that, if you want.

In fact, I really wish you would look at my comment, for my piece of mind. I want you to know that I DID do that--HOURS ago, without having to be told or asked by anyone to go back and do it. I do have integrity.

Good luck on the contest. I wish both of us could win.

Thanks so much for the contest linkage!! I am utterly pleased that so many people love this book and shocked that so many haven't read it but have always had it on a TBR list! It pleases my soul to share such a great author with the winner, her proximity in location & appreciation for life make it even better!

Oh & um you have TONS of extra points already by referrals! lol ;o) Love it!
