  10. Love the cartoon!

Can you imagine even trying to write under that kind of pressure, though? Spectators, competitors, time limits... That WOULD deserve a medal!

  11. Funny! Thanks for sending us over for a chuckle. Who mentioned Scrabble Word Olympics? I might qualify. My mom makes me play EVERY TIME I'm at her house!

  13. Adorable cartoon!

Writing sometimes feels like a spectator sport when my dog and cat sit by my desk and stare at me—expectantly—for hours. :)

  14. Ha! You are so right. Frankie has made it a great spectator sport.

  16. Yes! Love that. :) Writing wouldn't make for good reality tv, either.

  17. I agree with Janna. My mom said they should have an American Idol for writers. I said, "Mom, that would be the most boring show ever. A bunch of people sitting at computers drinking coffee, tea, or alcohol."

  18. LOL! Man, I can't even stand my husband reading over my shoulder much less being involved in a spectator sport with it!

  20. Frankie's Vlog was hilarious - thanks so much for the link! And I love the cartoon, too - it reminds me of watching my children's cross country meets when 90% of the time you're looking at an open field - that's not quite a spectator sport either.
