We're All Just Big Old Hens!

I'm like a big old hen. I can't cluck too long about the egg I've just laid because I've got five more inside me pushing to get out.

  1. Ha! It's been a while since I've laid a new egg, er, started a new story. Maybe I should. Thanks for the fun quote!

  3. I'm just getting ready to push child #5 out into the world of school. Wonder what other gems will be contained within once he's securely on his way?

  8. Eggs are great, all-around.

They're metaphors for everything, and they're delicious fried over-medium with buttery sourdough.

  10. Well, now I can take it as a compliment when someone calls me a chicken! Er, not that it happens on a regular basis or anything. :)

  11. OK, now I'm craving bacon. Is that normal?

I'm sure there was some obvious crack-some-eggs-to-make-an-omlette joke I could have made, but I decided to go with the bacon. I don't regret it.
