Gold Nuggets

"While writing, you’re weary,

Your eyes growing bleary.

Rejected, you’re teary,

But sales make you cheery;

So craft a good query,

And best of luck dearie!"

~Marvin Terban

My new favorite source for gold nuggets of writing is Jane Friedman from There Are No Rules. If you have not yet discovered this blog, go now and check it out. I'll wait. Serioulsy, go!

See, I was right, wasn't I? Did you bookmark it? Good!

I feel the need to share one post in particular (which Heather @ Heather's Odyssey found) called, "The Best Query Writing Advice". If you are working on your query, this is such a helpful article because of the links to other great info.

Also, don't miss this one: "The best Tweets for Writers".

And if you're are even considering entering the query wars, you MUST follow Casey McCormick @ Literary rambles and visit both the QueryTracker blog and QueryTracker.net

What is your favorite online writing source for query and publishing info?

  1. There's a lot of links there, and good ones, too. Thanks! It may take me a week or two to process it all, though. I think my brain is on pause.
