This had me laughing. Some days I feel like there is a huge spring on the seat of my chair, since I seem to be constantly bouncing out if it to get a drink.
Coffee and water, bff. Where I come from you couldn't drink the water. It was full of sulfer. When I married and moved here to NC and had spring water and then well water, I thought it was heavenly. Best cure for a hot summer day. I often write out by the pool or down at the barn. Water is my go to drink. :0)
A glass of water, yes, or another cup of tea, or maybe up to sharpen a pencil...when I don't even use a pencil that much anymore! The list of distractions for a writer are endless, aren't they? Love the quote...
Love this quote. And yes, I am one thirsty amigo. I think Diet Coke will suffice. Now, do we have any in the house? Hmm, think the laundry needs attention too... Happy weekend amigo, Karen
Yes, I'm thirsty! I had lots of water yesterday but none of it seemed to be enough. I think it's probably because it was very warm and humid weather outside or something.
This is so true. I'll forget to drink enough water during the day and then make up for it when I'm writing at night. I drink mine as I'm writing though, and hardly realize it until I've emptied my glass.
Great quote! I love water; it's so refreshing. Water is always my drink of choice!

Thanks for the laugh. It is so true!
ReplyDeleteWater? What is this foreign substance you speak of? Coffee, I need coffee! :)

ReplyDeleteGod, yes, I'm dying over here! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is so true. I always need a nice drink while I'm writing. Iced tea or a chai latte. Mmmm!

ReplyDeleteYep. I'd better go get one right now!
ReplyDeleteGreat quote.
ReplyDeleteAin't that the truth! :O)

ReplyDeleteHappy weekend amigo,
Karen
Heavens, it's the truth. The worst is when I won't get out of my chair to go get the glass of water, but I can't stop thinking about it.

Ha! That's awesome. And yet so true.

ReplyDeleteWater is delicious!

You know, I read recently that dehydration makes the mind sluggish. So, this is actually true! :-) Who'd have thunk it?
ReplyDeleteI need more water. I tend to need coffee just as much.
ReplyDeleteLOL That is awesome! 90% of the time, if not, I drink water.
ReplyDeleteHA! I love this!
ReplyDeleteWow, everyone says they get thirsty while writing. Maybe that's the big X factor I'm missing in my writing.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Have you been watching me?

ReplyDeleteI do drink a ton of water, but Cherry Coke is my weakness. It's sooo good and yet, so bad for me!
ReplyDeleteParched!
ReplyDelete(Stephanie, Cherry Coke sounds SO good!)
I am always well hydrated by some sort of beverage while writing.
ReplyDeleteTrue! Oh and pregnant ladies! They are always thirsty.
