I'll Do Better, I Promise

Okay, today is reserved for a very big apology to you all.

I have not been a good bloggy friend for the past few weeks. School is winding down, and as our district's writing specialist, I have done a number of in-service trainings for teachers and misc. other curriculum duties.

AND it's baseball season, so I've been living at the ball fields watching my three kiddos play (for the record: one is done, one is undefeated, and one has yet to win a game).

So, I apologize for not visiting your blogs and commenting as faithfully as I try to do.

I thank those of you who have continued to visit me, despite my absence on your own blogs. I appreciate every one of your comments and promise to be better about returning them soon.

I have the best followers in the world and I appreciate every single one of you!

Question of the day: Do you forgive me, bloggy friends?
*smiles sweetly and bats eyelashes*

What's to forgive? We all get busy, which is why I cut back to blogging once a week. Once it becomes a chore, it's just not fun anymore for me.

Good luck with end of school wrap-up, Mrs. O'Donnell! ;)

Aw, sometimes life just gets in the way. It's no biggie! We all understand! :o)

Living life is pretty important too. How could we have experience to draw from if we never experienced anything? I'm glad you are out there living right now and totally understand the absence.

Glad to hear you are having fun watching your kids play baseball. My job is pretty busy this week and I have a busy summer coming up so I'm not sure how I'll keep up with everything.

what are the rules for being a good bloggy friend anyway? life happens.

Aw, Shannon, really? No worries. It's totally understandable. Life is so nutty for me, right now, I'm thinking about taking a two week hiatus from blogging. That way, I won't feel so bad for missing your posts. :(

I agree with everyone. No worries! I've been terrible lately too. Life ebbs and flows, and so does blog-life!

We're all in a similar place, Shannon. And if we aren't this very minute we've been there. No worries, friend. Our fanship is not built upon the quantity of your posts; the quality of your blog draws us in. Keep up the good work, even if it is infrequent.

I know how busy it must be for you right now. We'll be here and how could we not love you?!?!?!?

Of course we forgive you! As if you don't have a real life outside of this blog. I mean, please! Hope the end of the year is fabulous!

Of course. I'm abysmal at visiting blogs (at least lately). There's really nothing to forgive (plus you're with your kids! Win in the mom category). :)

I've been going through my own ups and downs with the blogging world lately, so I totally sympathize!

There is not enough time in the day, and even if blogging - both writing and reading - is one of the things I love, it's sometimes got to be the first to go.

No apology necessary.
I feel ya. I've been under the weather.

Real life is most definitely allowed to interfere! My June is going to be absolute chaos so I totally understand! No worries :)

Your family life comes first! You have NOTHING to apologize for :) Have a wonderful week.

Shannon, just do your thing. We come here because we love your blog, not because we expect you to comment or follow back.

The teeter-totter life. Sometimes you're balanced and sometimes you flip right off. No apologies. Life is crazy.

You're a great bloggy friend! Life must come first and that's understandable. We'll be here when you get in the game (or from it rather :)

We understand. No worries. This summer will be crazy.

Don't worry. We all get too busy sometimes to read blogs. I also feel guilty when I don't read all mine, like it's a job I'm not doing. But it's supposed to be fun, not a job.

Of course but no apology is necessary. Life is like that. Stuff takes our attention to where it needs to be.

No need to apologize. Life gets in the way at times. Sounds like you are taking care of things that are and should be higher than blogging right now. We know you will be back, so no fretting or worrying, okay?

You are so sweet! I hear you on the neverending baseball schedules. REmarkably there are never games Memorial Day weekend so we get a bit of a reprieve (though I do love going to them!).

Stuff happens. Since April I haven't been able to visit and comment on 1/3 of the blogs I usually visit.

No worries, mate! I think you do a terrific, encouraging job on your blog all the time. :)

Jennifer Shirk said...

Of course I forgive you--if you forgive me first. LOL!!

I'm in the same place you are, except I've been there for longer than a couple weeks. :( I'm trying to get better about visiting my bloggy friends more often, though. :)
