Attacked, I Mean Tagged, by a Meme!

I've been tagged by a meme, courtesy of Natalie @ The Sound of Rain. I love that girl! It's my first meme attack, so humor me and pretend you read the whole thing, okay?!

The rules are easy. All I have to do is fill in the blanks after each bold word and tag 3 of my friends.

I like
my coffee extra hot
I like my furry, ultra-soft, brown blanket
I like my matching furry, ultra-soft, brown pillows
I like the smell of fresh-cut grass
I like watching my favorite baseball team kick butt!
I like re-reading something and being proud that I wrote it
I like vacations with my hubby and 3 kids
I like listening to my children laugh
I like K-Love on the radio
I like anything yellow, especially daffodils
I like baby animals!
I like staying indoors and being lazy on rainy days

I love BOOKS

Today was another day the Lord has made

I hate inappropriate language and gestures
I hate the Lord's name taken in vain
I hate onions!!
I hate it that my house won't sell
I hate dirty floors
I hate mean people
I hate having my sister so far away
I hate society's dependence on television and video games

I (secretly) like airport layovers

I love summertime - flowers in bloom, sunny days, green grass, and cool drinks

Okay... To the following three people, tag! You're it!

* Karen(Scobberlotch)
* Jennie
* Wendy/Quillfeather

Fun details! Well done with this meme.

KLove was playing some good stuff as I drove in my car last night. Both my girls were with me, and they fell asleep. I liked that it was to this station, instead of the others... which I had to skip past if their was commentary. It's pitiful!

Hope you get to enjoy a nice, extra hot cup of coffee today! :)

I hate onions too, (but I love onion rings, weird!)

I haven't seen this meme before- it's a fun one!

This is the day the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it!

I love the smell of fresh cut grass! I can't wait until summer so I can smell it again! =)

Airport layovers??? Really? I'm feeling like your answer may just be more twisted than mine:D

Stephanie Damore said...

Kelly, that's not weird. Everything tastes good when it's fried!

Yeah, I'm not feeling the airport layover & I don't know what KLove is, but the rest sounds lovely!

I'm noticing a "snuggle" theme here. Have you ever written a picture book about it? You totally should. Rainy days in my PJs. Yeah.

Fun, fun! Would you mind if I copy this sometime???

We share the hates of inappropriate language and the dependence on TV.
But I LOVE onions!!!!

Blessings, new bloggite friend!!

I secretly/not so secretly like airport layovers too. It's the best time to people watch and of course, read. I hate it when people take the Lord's name in vein as well. It always makes me cringe, especially when I read it in books.

Thanks for sharing, that was fun.

Natalie Murphy said...

I'm with Tina... layovers? Is there a reason??

Shelley Sly said...

Aww that was fun to read and looked like it was fun to write!

Moll said...

Ok, you HAVE to explain the airport layover thing. You must have a post or two up your sleeve about that quirk!

Julie Dao said...

This was so fun to read, Shannon! Airport layovers?! Is it because you get to buy candy at the kiosk and people watch?? :)

Shannon O'Donnell said...

Wow. I had no idea the airport layover revelation would cause such a stir. I (secretly) love them because:

It's a good time to read, think, watch people, and be by myself (usually). I love that extra "me" time. :-)

Angela Ackerman said...

Airport layovers??

okay, just read your comment--that makes sense now. :-)

this is a great post. I love to read these random little snippets of people's lives.
Yay for extra me time!

Great lists. Mine would be very similar. :O)

Oh, I hate that my house won't sell too! (At least it wouldn't if we were trying, but we decided to get renters instead when we moved).

Tales of Whimsy said...

I agree on the extra hot coffee :)
Disagree on onions (LOVE them) :)
Layovers? Really?

Hey, thanks Shannon!

What's with the airport layover thing?? Mad woman :)

Robyn Campbell said...

Oh, but I loves ya so much and you hate onions. Say it ain't true. =)

And the dependence on video games and television. AMEN sistah!

And summertime. Ahhhhhh, I'll be off my diet by then. Food!

Love getting to know more about you girlfriend. But we're going to have to talk about this onion thing. K?
Thanks for praying for my sweety Christopher. I am so glad I have you as a pal. I covet your prayers. Happy weekend. EAT LOTS 'O' ONIONS. hehe =)

Robyn Campbell said...

Oh and about airport layovers. SAY WHAT?????

Shannon O'Donnell said...

Because so many seemed to miss the first one, here it is again.

WHY I SECRETLY LIKE LAYOVERS:

Wow. I had no idea the airport layover revelation would cause such a stir. I (secretly) love them because:

It's a good time to read, think, watch people, and be by myself (usually). I love that extra "me" time. :-)

I hate onions as well. I don't fly often, but I like your reason for liking layovers! :)

Mary Aalgaard said...

I cringed at the "hate that my house won't sell." I know how you feel. Mine was on the market for a year and a half, ended up unloading it for less than we paid!! Yuck. Sorry you have that hanging over your head!

I don't mind airport layovers, either. It's better than trying to sprint to catch a flight that is on the other end of the terminal. I'm still breathless thinking about it!

Patti said...

I hate people who take the Lord's name in vain. I cringe every time.

I hope you can sell your house and be able to lay on the couch on a rainy day in another house.

Go A's.

I love getting to know you better! Coffee hot. Yum. Next time I am in Montana, let's get together for a cup!

I'll be giving you an award tomorrow... one I see you already have. But I'm still giving it because I think it embodies you so well!

XOXO
Suz

I hate raw onions, but love them cooked with steak. Yummy! I also like them in hamburgers and tomatoe sauce.

Have a great weekend!

Blessings,
Susan :)

Great answers! Love the smell of freshly cut grass, as it smells like summer. And daffodils mean spring is coming, so they're one of my favorite flowers. Wonderful answers all around! :-)

Susan Fields said...

I love staying indoors on rainy days, too! As long as I'm not cooped up with a houseful of kids - then I'll take sunshine any day.

Jackee said...

Such cute things! But I'm so sorry you are selling your house right now--I feel for anyone out there in those trenches.

Fun! I haven't seen this meme! Neato!

I hate the Lord's name taken in vain too. That one gets me more than any cuss words. And I also love the smell of fresh cut grass ~ I always want to throw the windows open on lawn-mowing day but my husband and one of my sons are TOTALLY allergic. I think it's a cryin' shame.

Liz @ Cleverly Inked said...

Clean freak here! LOL I hate dirty floors

J.R. Johansson said...

Yay! I'm humane! Thanks Shannon! :) It was great to learn more about you.

Jessie Oliveros said...

I hate inappropriate language. And I hate my house that won't sell. Which means I can't ever swear about my house that won't sell.

I've accepted your bloggy challenge! (Finally.) Been a long week, but my post is now up.

Those are fun! I like reading these. It lets you get to know people better.

Thanks for your comment on my blog Friday. I really appreciate the encouragement. I'm thinking of taking a break from my WIP for now. It needs a new direction, a new voice. And I'm okay with that. I have another project brewing. I'm sure once I'm able to return to my trilogy, I'll be ready to tackle it and get it (finally) complete!
