This cartoon cracked me up. Man, it feels just like that sometimes. We have friends coming to visit and my daughter has a study group coming over. Lots of activity.
Hope you're able to squeeze some fun into the day!
I've definitely had my basket look like that before! Fortunately my husband has a lot more time and a lot fewer clothes than I do, so he usually washes them. (I still do my own delicates, though.)
Today my conference starts! But I have to do a few things around the house before I head down there.
Coffee w my BFF, home to Saturday chores, hubby scrapping paint off bathroom ceiling (Yeah) Bout to round the teenagers up and remind them what a sweeper and mop look like
I'm working on a rewrite that an agent asked for! Which explains why I'm on your blog right? lol. I need help focusing. I can't wait for your review of the Cry of the Icemark
oh shannon I would help if I could...my plans for today were upheld beautifully:
Pajamas all day - perfectly useless for at least 5 hours, work on manuscript & watch movies with hubby... yep completed each one *giggles*
Currently I am listening to some songs that have influenced my WIP and thinking about some scenes while taking ONLY 15 minutes to catch up on some blogs! ;o)
Oh & yeah - my laundry will look like that tomorrow......but not tonight.
That's what my laundry looks like all the time - I never get caught up. I think it's rather impressive to have a mountain in our house. The key to maintaining such a mountain is to wash just enough to get you through the week.
I'm not sure if this puts me a step ahead or a step behind... we always have a mountain of clean laundry. My laundry room has an expansive countertop, and it's just too tempting to take clothes out of the dryer and dump them there!
EVERYONE - Wow - I'm waaayyyy behind on my comments! Thank you to all of you for taking the time to visit and leave a comment. We ALL know how great it is to check the blog and see new comments waiting for us. I appreciate every. single. one! :-)
lol!! Thanks for the laugh! Thankfully, my awesome Hubbykins kept up with his and the Pea's laundry while I was gone. But how did I manage to produce such a mound of dirty clothes on a 4 day trip??

Ha! We share laundry duty in our household, so I totally feel that one. Nice!
Day of working on the house and keeping the kids entertained. Kinda like every other day...
Simon, have fun with the kids! :-)
My husband was gone for four days...I think he wore at least two outfits a day...I've got a big pile to do. Life's fun little chores.

Have you been in my laundry room again?
Yup - that's me too! It multiplies exponentially when you ignore it!

The truth of that cartoon is giving me anxiety!
I'm going to write today! Wooohooo!
I think we might also be going to visit my mum's good friend (the ony who had the baby in Dec).
=]
Sharon - Ah, hubby laundry. Almost as fun as kid laundry. :)
Catherine - You know the cliche: Too much to do, too little time.
Sara - Well, if that's your tomorrow, make sure today is a good one!
Angela - Yep! And I have secret pictures to prove it. Ha ha.
Jemi - Yes, it does!
Heather - My hubby is actually pretty helpful with laundry too.
Candice - Take deep breaths and think happy thoughts.
Natalie - I envy you. I wish I could have a writing day (and we all love a new baby!) :-)

Hahaha, very funny but true cartoon :)
The story of my life!
See-- you DO write about truth! You ARE deep (in dirty clothes).
Hope you got caught up.
Yes, too much, right?
All my "chores" are done for the weekend. I just need to write for class.
YAY! Good luck
much love
